ALEXYOWY Interior Design was born from a story of friendship, dreams, and legacy. Alex reflects my own journey, while Yowy — pronounced Joey — was my beloved childhood best friend with whom I shared the dream of one day opening a business together.
Although Yowy’s life was tragically cut short in a car accident in 2001, his memory continues to inspire me every day to honor our vision. After completing both bachelor’s and master’s degree with honors at The Art Institute, and with more than 20 years of interior design experience, I transformed that dream into reality. Today, ALEXYOWY creates spaces that blend timeless beauty with functionality, embracing natural textures, custom furnishings, and thoughtful details. Each project is more than design; it is a heartfelt expression of legacy, transforming spaces into lasting experiences of beauty and meaning.
